The home still had a ceramic fuse board with rewireable fuses, which left the family without any RCD protection on power and lighting circuits. Nuisance tripping had become a daily problem, and an electrical inspection ahead of a planned renovation flagged the board as non compliant.The client wanted a safe, reliable setup that would handle the added load of the renovation and pass inspection without issue. They also asked for a clean, clearly labelled board so any future work would be straightforward.We assessed the existing supply and circuit layout, then installed a new switchboard with main switch, RCBOs across all circuits, and proper labelling. Every circuit was tested and the board was laid out with space left for future additions.
